Join TILT’s Outreach Team as a Summer Intern
We’re looking for a diverse team of volunteers available from June through September. Spreading the word to the 1000 Islands community about the importance of land conservation and the recreational and educational uses of our preserves is a vital part of TILT’s mission – that’s where the Outreach Team comes in! The work will be varied, interesting and fun and volunteers can work as many hours a week as they want.
Opportunities are available to assist with PR, Social Media & General Outreach, TILT’s Treks & Events and the Kids Korner Garden & Natural Play Area through a Sustainability & Wellness internship. Or, a custom work-plan can be created, based on your interests – this is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in careers in marketing, public relations, event planning, non-profits and/or conservation!
Click here to read the “Intern Diaries” from our 2012-14 intern Smith Hambrose, 2013 Summer Land Steward Nick Scaglione and 2014 intern Kelly Kearns; and published articles about the TILT intern experience, written by our 2013-14 intern Henney Hambrose and 2012-15 intern Nicole Gokey.
If you’re interested in joining TILT’s Outreach Team, please contact Corinne Mockler, TILT’s Coordinator of Education and Outreach, by email, email@example.com, or by calling the TILT office at 686-5345.
