Internship Opportunity with Propulsion

Propulsion, a maker of Mobile and Web apps is looking for two interns to assist with Research and Marketing. The internship is open to the following Area of Studies (Majors): Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, and Management.

Details:

  • Unpaid credit bearing internship
  • 15 week commitment (this is flexible)
  • 16 hours per week (2 days) commitment
  • Skills need: ability to perform research and marketing
  • Helpful background: Marketing, some familiarity with coding but not required.
  • Knowledge that will be gained: Project Management, Product Management, and learning what it takes to build a start-up company

Essential requirements:
– 2–5 years’ work experience
– Master’s degree (Business, Engineering, MBA or similar degree preferred)

– Leadership skills, potential and ambition to fulfill senior business management positions in the future

Downtown Albany BID Internships

The Downtown Albany BID’s intern program provides an excellent opportunity for emerging business leaders to acquire professional skills and connections. Interns are vital in the successful coordination and implementation of important programs and initiatives, and each is given at least one major project to manage during their BID tenure.

Internships are available during the fall, spring and summer. While most interns are junior or senior level in college, on occasion the BID will consider exceptional college sophomore students as potential candidates. As projects arise, we also look for graduate students with specific skills sets.

Downtown Albany BID’s has internships available for:

NYS Office of the State Comptroller Future Forward Internship Academy, Summer 2015

Internship opportunity for students interested in Auditing, Business Management Accounting, Human Resources and Administration and Project Management. Selected students will have 22.5 hours per week of class/experiential learning and 15 hours working for the NYS Comptroller’s Office on project-based work.
