Summer position with NYC Department of Parks and Recreation

We are offering all qualified students an opportunity to join the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation’s Citywide Aquatics Division as swimming instructors to teach “Learn To Swim” at outdoor pools.  In order to be considered for a teaching position, students must hold American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or an equivalent. Discounted course rates may be offered to students who are applying for the position, but do not currently hold American Red Cross certification.  To schedule an appointment e-mail your resume to (citywideaquatics@parks.nyc.gov).
